VZ Smells after rain/ Door Seals ripped

My car stinks after it rains, Is there anyway to find out where it is taking water from??

Also the driver side seal on the bottom chasis is ripped doiwn the seam can anyone tell me how much it would cost to replace it and wether i can just get the one section done or does it all have to be redone. Is it possible to do it yourself?

Where inside the car is it wet after is rains? is a start!

If the driver side seal is torn i dare say its coming from there. Not sure on the cost, its usually best to do all the seals dependent of what condition there in. It can be done urself, if u have the know-how.

Ta dude. i left the window down a few weeks after i bought it and it rained it mite be that also.

but when i can afford it i'll definately get the seals redone

Lol, yeah look for the wet patches!

If it's been a few days it can be hard, the surface of the carpet might be dry but it might be damp underneath, which is when you get that ugly musty smell. Air it out, spray a little Nilodor around, get an air freshener and thats about it, it will go eventually.

If it's parked in a safe place (like your driveway?) on a hot day, leave the windows down a bit so it can vent.
