Hi all this is my 1st time on here , Just wondering if anyone could please tell me the difference between the standard v6 and a sv6 model anyone who can help i would be greatful thanks in advance

hey mate not really the right area for your post but welcome anyway standard v6 is 175KW the SV6 is 190kw if thats what you are reffering to

the ve omega is 180KW and VE SV6 is 195KW lol i dont think some times welcome in anycase

Also the SV6 has a 5spd auto or 6spd manual, FE2 (sport) suspension, LSD, SS body kit, power windows and alloy wheels.

Speaking bout the VZ, not familiar with the VE.

sv6 is a quad cam v6 with vtec on the linlet and exhaust valves, and a variable manifold, also it has a 5 speed flappy paddle gearbox or 6 spd manual
its also has the ss body kit, alloys, fe2 suspension, nicer interior etc etc

exec is a quad cam v6 with vtec on the linlet valves only, and a crap 4 spd auto. and the manual was only avaible on the utes, its your basic poverty pack car nothing special about it

Also, it was after I think Macrh 05' that LSD became standard on the SV6's (prior to this they were single spinners) and then later in the year (someone got the month?) they dropped a negligible amount of torque to meet emissions standards.

But Naffen has pretty much nailed it in 1.... bastard beat me to it I am still drooling over your bonet ... sell it to me and make another ... kgo... :P

well you might be i luck, car is goin up for sale very soon, and if it doesnt sell by end of january as is, its goin back to stock. ive kept every single stock part, so if thats the case ill have everything to sell

replacing it is a one way ticket to london and a 46 day kontiki tour.

plates from the car and my bike will be put in storage until i get back, then i will deffently be getting a v8, leaning towards a gto coupe

That's a fair bit of replacing..... with money to spare I'm sure! haha. Going to grab me dual citizenship at some stage and go and rape the IT industry in the UK for a while in a few years. Can't right now as too much going on
