vz stereo problem

ey guys, got a vz sv6 and sometimes while im driving n iv had the volume up for a bit, the balance just changes to 1 side, to the drivers side speaker, and i look at the balance and its still in the middle, i cant adjust it or anything. so what i do is turn it off n back on again and its fine. it happens rarely but just want to know if anyones had the same problem with the bluepunkt stereos or whatever their called. it also happens to my mate and he has a vy acclaim with the same stereo, its an ex-cop car so we thought they'v played around with the wires n stuff but a week later it started happenin to me. any ideas? thanks

Happens to mine same fix, but mines not an ex-cop car, but sometimes it goes all the way left or right, depending on the mood of the car lol
