So my car's being tinted

I Picked the charcoal Grey 35% tint but my sister got 14% and now im worried its gonna be sooo easy to see into like i don't have a tint at all.

Does anyone else have 35% on their car and are you happy with it?

I have 35% on all the cars but the commodore does not look as dark as my BF work car I use to have. But it is fine as 35% is legal any thing less then you have to worry about defects

mine is 35% and you can hardley see in the damm thing especially at night... i don't know if its because my car is black with black leather...

But at least it's legal and you cant get defected over it....

Paytz, just so you know there is no tint available that's 14%! Many places say that it's 14% or 15% when really it's 17.5% because the human eye can't tell a 3.5% difference. 17.5% is the darkest tint that is availble off the roll except for the 5% (or what you see on the side of vans).

Also the darker your interior the harder it will be to see in. Hell during the day you can easily see a white piece of paper on a dark seat through 17.5%. No hope at night time without a bright torch though.

35% is very weak... Hardly worth having it IMO.... 15-20% looks great without being over the top dark

17.5% is great I got pulled over by a cop for a totally different reason and said nothing about the tint, just the failure to display P Plate! But holy crap it's dark at night! Especially on a black car.

I have got midnight express which is 35% and is really dark (also cos my interior is black leather).... I am very happy with it as it keeps car dark and cool

got the car back and im very happy with it its heaps cooler which i was after, its considerably darker then the tint that was on it when i got it.

I've got Midnight express 35%, (not shown in my sig pic) the car is cooler and looks great at night. You can see in it during the day, but a lot less than before. Looks good and its legal; can't complain.
