    Default alloytech coolant drain?

    does anyone know if there is a drain plug on the block of the alloytech

    Most likely is mate, but not sure where.
    All i did when i drained the coolant was undo the radiator drain plug. When looking at the top of the radiator its on the right hand side at the bottom corner.

    there is welsh plugs, but i doubt there will be a bolted bung

    when i drained the coolant out... the most i could get was about 5-6l...there should be about 11l in there....there must be some other drain some where

    that sounds about right,

    if you want to to a real coolant flush you should remove the thermostat and them flush through backwards, but depends if you that keen considering there at the back of the engine

    just did mine today had the same problem only got about half out?runs a bit cooler though which is good

    yeah mate i did mine today aswell u can use the little knob that can be unscrewed by hand, on my vz was on the left front, but u can just disconnect the radiator hose to speed up the process, and yes u'll only drain about half of it out, is normal
