Scratched exterior door handle

As the title says, I've managed to scratch my drivers door handle when I was getting out of the car this morning. I've got two options:

touch up the paint or buy a new door handle.

I'd prefer a new door handle but how difficult is it to do yourself?

touching up the paint is probably easier but I'm not sure about the quality

bit fiddly but overall not that hard, I had to do it to a VT last year.

The issue being I got it done via work and the painter had 2x white handles. He painted on in Heron White (VT) and one in Arctic Frost (Range Rover), he got them mixed up and put the VT paint to onto the Rangie and visa versa, their close but not spot on.

If you touch it up you'll find it wont match either (big blob) and will be prone to crack as you use the handle.

Apart from that you'l cuss a bit but then work it out, its only the snibber button linkage and the door lock linkage.
