about 3-4000 for svi (vapour injection) or roughly 5,000 for liquid injection, liquid is a much better system imo, more power and same economy as petrol

A standard gas system will cost about that, when you go to injection the price goes up quite a bit

alloytecs need an injection setup, i also believe its mandated that any car after produced after 05 has to be injected, although if thats the case how does ford get away with it

I got a quote for this the other day for my SV6 and it was $4300 for an injected system by Sprint Gas. Which with our rebates over here (don't know if all states are the same) came to $1300

$4000-$5000 is the going rate for SVI in WA.

Liquid Injection usually goes for over $5000 here.

Despite what people have said in the past, it is my experience that VZs and VEs run really well on gas. The OMVL/SprintGas Dream XXI SVI system is tops.

    From LPGas 1.
    I spent about $4000.
But not very good. My car has a rough idling or surge .... hmmm whatever it is.
But this is 100 % ok on petrol.
They tried to fix 2 times . but still there.

I don't know whether VZ runs well on Gas. I Don't think so.

I've got the BRC Sequent 56 on my VZ. When it does decide to work, it works extremely well. Most of the time however, the beeper keeps going off, as it switches itself back to petrol (with a full tank of gas). Reminder to self - must get the Holden dealer folk to look at it again (for the third or fouth time). Maybe they might jag a proper fix for it. LOL

Forget the dealers. They won't know Jack.

Take it to a gas fitter who specialises in IMPCO-BRC Sequent gear.

Guys, remember that LPG is much more demanding of a strong ignition system. An ignition system that is questionable when an engine operates on petrol will be completely out of the question when the engine operates on LPG. Spark plugs will last probably 70,000-80,000km on LPG compared to over 100,000km on petrol. Coils that are marginal will cause surging and rough running.

Actually surprise surprise, my local Holden dealer did eventually find the problem with my gas system. It turned out to be a shagged gas temperature sensor that was causing all my dramas.

Sensor replaced & now running like a bought one.
