VZ gear selector panel light?

Hi guys,

Im the new owner of an 04 VZ acclaim and am wondering if someone can tell me whether the panel next to the gear selector that shows whether your in drive, reverse etc should light up?
I noticed last night that mine wasnt lighting up so would i be right to assume there would be a bulb that needs replacing or does this panel not light up because it shows what gear your selecting up on the dash?

it should light up, in saying that i cant say ive noticed.... check your fuses and light globes,

had same prob definalyl lights up just take your consol apart n replace bulb

yeh it does light up coz Phreddy changed mine to an icy blue colour

Drop the fuse panel and you will see 2 phillips head screws that attach the right hand console cover. The rear section clips in near the hand brake lever. Remove this panel and you'll see the light socket up there.

Thanks this is exactly what i needed.
New globe is in and working.
