    Default Ute trailer wiring

Just scored a towbar to fit to my ute,no dramas fitting it other than removing the rear muffler. My question is

Does Holden sell a trailer plug wiring kit?
Does in connect to a plug at the rear lights or do you have to do it the old skool way of splicing into the rear loom.

    Thanks in advance

Usually when u buy a towbar, u buy the wiring kit with it! Yes Holden should be able to sell u one but got back to where u bought the towbar & ask them "do u have the wiring kit".
How come the rear muffler had to be removed?

In all cases when you buy a tow bar they come wired, i got mine s/h, hence the lack of a connector.

The rear muffler had to come off due to where it mounts to the chassis rails. Once the bar was fitted the muffler went back on

yes holden sell them, cheap too, all you do is disconnect the right hand tail light and fit the harness in between these too, there is also a separate connector for the left hand indicator that you plug in, this is how it works on the sedan and wagon, so i assume its the same for the ute
