nope, efilive wont work, with this, youll either need a tool from a reputable company,

a good one to buy would be vcm suite, about $1000

would rather have something hook up through the laptop.

dunno mate i would be inclined to stick to Tech 2 unit but they lots i think maybe phreddy be the man to ask?

hmm id be really questioning the relibilty and functionality of those, what is particular are you needing one for?

Im just after a tool so i can watch my my short term idle mixtures while on gas, i have been getting a few lean trim faults and i would love to be able and watch without going to get connected to the Tech2 or Snap-on multi scanner, i would like my own, even if i have to get a lead and software for my laptop, i have new Acer Aspire One

noticed a post from phreddy the other day regarding these sort of products, he says they mainly only read a few sensors, and have very little programming ability, and mainly just cater for euro imports, maybe a bit of food for thought

Ah ok, yer well i have emailed the seller to see if they will offer me a return service if it wont work on the VZ, ill wait to see what they say, but for $130 all up if it worked it would be pretty handy for fault finding issues with my car and other peoples(i do random repairs to cars)

Ok got my scan tool today, and YES it works a treat on CAN BUS and older OBD2 systems

I tested it clearing a fault on the VZ and it reads and works well with that, it also works well on a VY i tried it out on and also my X-Trail

So if you want a stand olone system for checking and clearing DTC's the one above in my earlier post will work for you

Its paid its dues already, helped me fault find a wiring issue with a SV6 and helped my wallet to an extra $50
