just follow the owners manual and change them every 40k for V6 and 80k for V8.

on older models yes, alloytecs are fitted with iridium plugs that are rated to 120,000km

Do they say when to change leads?
Or just when they're stuffed?

It's not specified in the schedule they give to customers, I'm not sure if Holden have their own internal guidelines.

alloytecs dont have leads, it has six individual coils over the top of the plugs, hence called, coil-over-plug ignition,

replacing coils is usually done when they fail

Don't suppose anyone knows what the spark gap for the factory Iridiums in a VZ LS1 is? I know they probably come pre-gapped, but I still like to make sure :p
