Hi all,
Just got my hands on a WK Caprice (what a car!) and have just realised that the rear dvd screens aren`t working. Yes we should have checked but the seller said they worked (he has said he`ll get them fixed as he thought they were working - so he`s genuine).
In the mean time though, I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions.
I can put a dvd in the player and it will play, I can hear audio and turn it up and down, skip chapters etc, but the screens just aren`t coming on. (there are LEDs lit just below the screens though)
I`m led to believe that when you insert a disc the player turns on and so should the screens right?
I couldn`t see a fuse for the screens but maybe I`m missing something?
Any help much appreciated!

hey mate i have a wl caprice and from my experience what you have said above should be the norm..
as for fuses ect.. im not sure.
the led light you are refering to are "apparently" for wireless headphones and also a dvd remote which the previous owner may or may not have..
mine has gone missing before i bought it but can be purchased from holden but they need your vin number as there is a couple of different ones.
hope this helps in some way all the best with it and if its something electrical post it up as it may be a common fault..

Yes the screens should be on if the sound is playing. Pull up the back seat and it will give you access to DVD player and cabling. Make sure everything is plugged in.

Thanks for the info fellas. I`ve just talked to the previous owner and he said he had the rear seat up to clean etc so he may well have knocked something. Will have a look this arvo and report back.
Cheers
All sorted! Had a fiddle with the connections as suggested and the screens fired into life.. thanks very much for the tips everyone!
