    will the man gear box from a VY, fit into my vz.....

    Doubt it, totally different motor.

    Ecotec was a 5spd Getrag box, the Alloytec is a 6spd Aisin box.

    no bellhousing bolt holes line up differently,


    i wouldnt use a crappy getrag anyway, the aisin is such a nice gearbox
