Default Helo, Need Advice on Exhaust choice

    Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure whether I should put a 2.5" straight through from the cat back or twin 2" from the cat back.

would the twins be to large?

Its just the 175kw v6 alloytec engine and I'm not sure which would be better.

    Any help would be great.

ay m8 i heard twin is no good for the 175 so i went single 2/5 with rear ressy so its very quite and with my extractors its a nice increase in bottem end and no excess noise, just my thoughts and choice.

I agree. Twin is too big for the 175, go a single 2 1/2".

so i went to my exhaust shop. He reckons a single 2.5" from just behind the dual cats with a small ressy to give it a nice note. good price too. probs go with that.

Instead of making another tread asking the same question i thought id thro it up here.

I have a VZ SV6 with the 190KW engine obviously, and im after a new exhaust. Baically i only want a slight change in the note mostly. Not after a full system from the headers that can be heard miles away, just something with a bit of nice down low, deep gugly grunt.Hope that makes sense haha.

Will i be looking at a system similair to the OP or something different for what i want?
