Hi Jet-6
This question has been asked many times and it seems that no-one has the paint on the shelf as a ready mix, nor can it be purchased from Holden as a touch-up.
You would need to go to an auto paint supplier, who has a catalogue of all the different interior and exterior colours for each model. Any reputable paint supplier should be able to help here.
If you can get the colour matched (and the problem here is that we all know it's called Dark Tempest, but we don't know the paint code for that colour), you need to have it mixed in a satin finish.
I think it's probably time one of us actually went out and bought some of this stuff, just so that we can tell everybody else what that colour code number is.
I checked a Series 2 VY Calais the other day and it had the finish I referred to so I think it was the standard one for that version. It wouldn't be any good to somebody with the climate control air in a VZ, because it didn't have the modified top section to accommodate the dash-top storage compartment - the outer surround just ran right up and over the top of the centre stack like all VY's and lower spec VZ's.
What colour are you chasing for those vents in the doors and console?
