    Default vz transmission

    afther instaling a transgo stage 2 shift kit when it hits second makes like a screech noise for a quick second been told it needs a billet super server to give it more omph has anyone had similar problems or is this sounds right cheers.

    well i dont know about billet servos as there expensive but im pretty sure corvette servos do the same job and are cheap! billet servo: $180+ compared to the corvette i bought yesterday for $47...

    yeh ive heard bout the corvette servo hit second hard dont they maybe he was having a bad week wanted $218 for the billet

    Simply put, billet servo's are just a superior version of a corvette servo.

    Billet servo is to corvette servo as corvette servo is to standard servo

    Google some images for a better idea.

    Another thing to watch, is some gen IIIs get engine drive belt sqweel on hard shifts aswell, tired tensioner or belts
