Default VZ Headlights have a mind of their own

The headlights keep coming on automatically in my VZ about 3 seconds after i start it. I've only had the car about 4 weeks and it's done it since i got it. The headlight switch is in the OFF position. I went through the options menu but can't find anything regarding this. Is this a fault?

Is it an ex Telstra Car? If so they have the headlights wired to come on and stay on (safety feature). Can be de-activated. If required, do a search of previous threads on this forum.
