Alarm sound when locking

ok all of a sudden every time we lock the car now the alarm seems to beep 3 times. Its never done this before at first i thought the battery in the remote might be going flat but it even does with the spare key
any ideas what could be happening?

check all the doors are locking,

does it beep if you press the lock button once? or twice,

if it beeps on the second time there is a fault with the actuator when it trys to deadlock

it beeps on both 1st press and 2nd press

bonnet pin might be broken
pop bonnet have a look for the pin switch and make sure the rubber on the bonnet is long enough to push down on the pin
the rubber turns in and out for height adjustments

a ha it might be that bonnet got got a smack in the nose late last year still waiting to get it fixed i shall check that out thanks
