Commodore VZ SS Sedan Police??

I was looking at selling my car and was hunting around for some like it to get an idea of what sort of price I would get but couldnt find any like it. Would anyone have an idea? Its a Devill Yellow 06 VZ SS 6lt Ex police with 95,000kms.

You probably don't want to advertise it as ex-police, because people will think it's been thrashed. Then again, some people believe they have magical cop-chips that give them an extra 50kW, so it may work in your favour

The 6 litres sell for about that much. The 5.7's are around the 22-24k mark for ones under 100,000. Which his is.

Carsales isn't always the best indicator of real prices you'll pay. Lots of people post overly optimistic prices, or highball the prices to they have haggling room.

I looked at a lot of V8s last year when I bought my VZ (and prices have fallen further since then), and trust me, you won't get $26k for that car. $22k perhaps, but not $26k.

For $26k you can nearly jump into a VZ Senator or Clubsport.

Given it's low kms yes you probably would get more than $22k in a private sale. From a dealer though I very much doubt it.

It's a buyers market for V8s at the moment.

I'd take nothing less than $25,000 for that yellow ss..Not a massive amount of kms and the colour is awesome..Auto? As long as the dealers keep asking for close to $30,000, ppl arnt gonna complain about sum1 asking 25k privately
