Fixing those nasty snot ships

i have been reading up on how to fix the stone chips on the front bumper and when i get the correct paint it appears whiter and brighter than my bonnet paint (i have heron white car)

i know paint fades and what i need to know is the best way to get these paint chips fixed up?

do i get the bonnet completly sprayed or can i just spray the small front section my self and try blending it?
