I've run 18x8 +48 with 245/40R18 and also 19x8.5 +35 with 245/35R19, the back of my car is lower than fe2 and I had zero troubles. My opinion would be all good.

Every car is different but the numbers stack up fine for a VY and I'd suggest you won't have any dramas as sweefu already mentioned.
I have a VR Pretty low (in my album) and with 19 inch sigs on it with 245/35r19s wondering if I put 245/40r19s would cause any problems? I'm due for a new set of Tyres and was looking at getting federals 595 same as on ssv, ss VE.

will 255/35/19 fit on a 19x 8 inch rim?
thank you for help
brett.
I have standard rims and standard tyres on a vp commodore wagon, can someone be kind enough to tell me
what size rims (mags) would fit on the vp wagon along with good tyres.
I'm not a car expert like you guys and dont know much, but the help here can help me out big time.
hi, new to the thread.
i recently bought a vy clubsport with standard 18" wheels.
i was thinking of getting springs for the car with 19" rims.
or is it okay to go 20" with or without the springs?
i have a vy acclaim and will be lowing it a bit in the future (probably king spring sl) and im wanting to put some lorenzo WL26 on my car and have some 19x8 +45 on the front which should be fine for clearance but will 19x9.5 (either +35 or +45 offset) rear what offset and size tyre do i need and will it fit or will the guards need rolling?
just want to double check. NSW has the 15mm law? and not the 2" law?
hey guys, im wondering i can get some stock ve 19'' [ur=http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTYSGetmCbPUhfhh5zgkxOhRZ-bMMYBTLQLjn3fevz986T7qOmI]like these[/url] for 250 clams and they are in perfect condition but i drive a 2001 vx commo and wanted to know if they would fit? if not why? if its the hub(that what iv been told might not allow it fit) i can machine that out at work how big do i go IIRC 69.5mm?
thanks.
Hey Jarrard,
I am thinking of purchasing a wheel and tyre package from you in the next few weeks. I am tossing up between your 18" HB-R package and your 20" Madrid package. I drive a 1999 VT commodore executive, my tyre placard says I have a limit of 240 for the front and rear, load index of 92 and a speed rating of H. What package would you recommend as I have heard there can be some issues with 20" wheels such as inner camber wear etc. ?
Camber wear has nothing to do with the wheels/tyres you run really, it is about your suspension. Both the packages will suit your car.

Wicked, thanks sweefu
Yep sweefu covered it all -Both packages will be fine.
wish i saw this before i go the 245 40 18s that will not fit on the VR
Hey man,
You're a legend for doing this!
I'm just wondering what load rating vz wagons require on 19" rims
will I need 245/35/19?
Thanks man!
Thanks for that guide
hey mate, i have a vr calais and i have a set of 235/35/R19's
will they cause me any legal issues? just had to take them off though because the irs has chewed into the inside line of the tyres
(showing wires) and i havent even lowered it...

I'm looking at the following staggered wheel and tyre combination for my 1999 VT SS (non lowered / standard FE2 SS suspension).
Front:
19 x 8.5 (PCD / ET: 5H x 120 / ET35) running a 245/35/19 tyre
Back:
19 x 9.5 (PCD / ET: 5H x 120 / ET35) running a 265/30/19 tyre
The above keeps the rolling diameter as close as possible to the original factory set-up, which is fine, and the 8.5 with the 245 on the front will be fine, but wanted to check to see if the 265's will cause issue with the re scrubbing the strut tower?
Cheers
