i actually went and tried this, so i took some photos of it fitted. i have since decided on a set of 30mm bolt on spacers, and a set of BMW 18inch rims. so the result will be an ET8 offset. compared to ET48 on the stock commodore rim.

and heres the resulting offset using an et20 rim. my bmw rims are et38 so will sit flush i hope.

oh, and to get a better indication of how far they now stick out....pretty sure its equal to negative 10 offset.

i think 8inch? theyre a 225 tire on there now.
I really don't like the look of those spacers. Look dodgy as.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
theyre bolt on hubcentric spacers. the slip nice n tight on the hub, they have their own studs and then the rim slips back on to its own center hub locating ring and bolts on. much better than slip on spacers.
bit of a thread dig but thanks for stickin up. iv since changed the front wheels all together.
