i actually went and tried this, so i took some photos of it fitted. i have since decided on a set of 30mm bolt on spacers, and a set of BMW 18inch rims. so the result will be an ET8 offset. compared to ET48 on the stock commodore rim.

Whats up soop? Didnt u think id give it a go?

It actually went striaght on no worries at all. And on full lock it only just touches the footwell area. A couple hits with a hammer would see it clear.

But no. Im not keeping it that way.

oh, and to get a better indication of how far they now stick out....pretty sure its equal to negative 10 offset.

I really don't like the look of those spacers. Look dodgy as.

theyre bolt on hubcentric spacers. the slip nice n tight on the hub, they have their own studs and then the rim slips back on to its own center hub locating ring and bolts on. much better than slip on spacers.

Why do they look dodgy? Look good to me man, been using the same design of spacer on my track/drift car for 8 months now with zero worries..
