I've got a '95 Vr exec, factory 5spd 5l with LSD & a live axel, I'm currently running ultra low king springs on the rear n superlows up front, n I'm wantin to run a set of 20" wheels. I need tips/help on how to get them to fit! As much advice as I can get, want to get it right! :P cheers

First question: do you want it to be legal?

Seen plenty of Vr/VS with twenties, wondering wat I need to change/buy in order to do it..? Specifically "G8"s which is wat I'm looking at buying.

Does your tyre placard list the 215/60R16 size on it? If not it is not legal to run 20's on your VR as the tyres required (225/35R20) are outside the 15mm limit. 245/30R20's are inside the 15mm limit but are too wide for a VR. Not saying they won't fit with the 225's, just won't be legal.

Would police pick up on that though? I go out of my way not to draw attention to myself

i wouldn't be worried about the cops picking up on it but more an eagle eyed insurance assesor trying to get out of paying should anything happen.

Firstly, I worte of a Stateman with 20's and had no issues with insurance, they even gave them back to me. (thats not to say they wont screw you)

Secondly, you will need to fit 5mm spacers on the fronts so the inside wheel doesnt foul the strut tower.

Im running the exact same spring set up your talking about with 20's. I have even seen blokes use a hammer on the strut tower. (not a good idea)
