Default X-plode 3" 100cell metal high flow cat

X-PLODE PERFORMANCE has been working hard behind the scenes and is now excited to introduce our new Racing range of High Flow 100 CPSI Metal Cats. Don’t pay $250+ for other brands as we have better quality products at a much cheaper price.

Our High Flow Racing cats come in both 4” and 5” in body and are available in 2.25”, 2.5″ and 3″ inlet/outlet sizes. We also cater for customized orders so if you have specific requirements please ask. We have researched and tested all of our products and use only the highest quality Polished Stainless Steel to manufacturer our cat converters. All of our cats also feature an outer layer of stainless casting which acts as a heat shield. Our cats are universal design and are made to fit on any vehicle.

Stock cats vs X-PLODE high flow Racing cats

The role of the stock catalytic converter is to convert harmful pollutants into less harmful emissions before they ever leave the car’s# exhaust system, which need to comply with local laws however from a performance perspective it poses as a major restriction in the exhaust system, preventing flow and loss in horsepower.

It is illegal to remove and drive without a catalytic converter in Australia so we came up with the next best thing, X-PLODE PERFORMANCE High Flow Racing Cats.

X-PLODE PERFORMANCE high flow racing cats with 100 CPSI (Cells per square inch) are the highest flowing catalytic converter design on the given market.
Recent ceramic high flow cats are limited to 400 CPSI other types of metal cats can only range between 200 and 300CPSI. X-PLODE PERFORMANCE have formulated the correct materials and design mechanisms to ensure we can meet this standard every time.

Here @ X-PLODE PERFORMANCE WE ARE ALL ABOUT DISMINISHING THE RESTRICTION, INCREASING THE AIR FLOW AND LETTING THE POWER BE FELT.

We also cater for customized orders including titanium high flow cats for the extreme performance enthusiast so if you have specific requirements please ask.

X-PLODE PERFORMANCE 3” Racing cat converters feature a 4” body with a 3” inlet/outlet and are suitable for:
V6, V8, LS1, LS2, LS3, VL Turbo and many other modified Turbocharged, Supercharged and Naturally Aspirated vehicles.

All of our products come with a 5 year warranty
X-PLODE PERFORMANCE offers 100% Customer Satisfaction.
We will not be beaten on Price, Quality and Service!!!

To purchase just shoot me a pm and I will give you the details.

    Thanks

Are your 100CPI cats legal in the eyes of the EPA? If so they'd be the first 100CPI cats legal in Australia.

As for emissions standards no they are not but we have 200CPSI that are however most people who do exhaust upgrades want the maximum flow hence why they opt for the 100CPSI options. Alot of people as well want their exhausts loud weather they are legal or not. It is personal choice. As for 2.25" X-plode Cat it will cost $160 to your door.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate in contacting me.

Interesting,Im one of those people that payed $250 for 100cpsi cats but from Sureflow in the Ballistic range.Im looking at doing the VX's cats now that the BA is done.

How do you think they compare to the Ballistic items in the construction/material point of view?I like to tune my vehicles a little richer than some so good cats are essential.Big call saying they are better than Sureflows, price regardless. If this is the case then congrats and yous will go a long way.

    Thankyou.

X-PLODE PERFORMANCE cats are made from the highest grade materials to ensure the highest flow possible while also ensuring the temperatures are kept to a minimum. We have seen good gains from our cats and all of our customers are very happy with both the quality and the price.

As for comparing with the Ballistic cats... I will let our customers do the talking because all of them are happy with the gains they made and also the quality and look. Just take a look on our site of the stock cat vs our X-PLODE cat.

We will be releasing an X-PLODE 2.5" stainless catback exhaust system for VT-VZ Sedan V6 and V8 soon which have been making very good gains and looks 1000X better than stock and other mild steel catbacks currently on the market.

    Stay tuned!

Can you give us a bit of a rundown on your manufacturing process? What grade stainless do you use?
Just so the potential customers have a bit of an insight into the products.

All of our products are made from the highest grade 304 polished stainless steel. The entire process is under quality control so all of our products are made to our highest specification.

We will have 2.25" 2.5" 3" and 3.5" X-plode cats available again at the end of this week and will be releasing our X-plode 2.5" stainless steel exhaust system for VT-VZ sedans some time in December.

We will release more information very soon so keep checking back.

    Thanks

The fine for the exhaust being too loud is substantially less then that of not having a cat, which is paramount to having a non EPA approved 100CPI cat.

It comes down to personal choice and it's like saying how people modify their car and some people like it and some people don't whether it is legal or not. People put loud exhausts on knowing they are not road worthy yet they still do it. Also if you completely remove the cat you will have smoke pouring out of your exhaust which will get noticed rather quickly.

Most of our customers option for the 100cell cat because this provides the best flow for their car and they want the most out of it.

    Just dont understand the lodgic
Welcome to go try it mate. I know at least 10 different people with 100cpsi cats, and only ones been defected, (might have been the aftermarket cams fault) even with a 200CPSI cat ur are breaking the law and can be defected unless ur car comes stock with 200CPSI cats.

xplode offer 100cpsi AND 200cpsi, if you don't want the better flowing/sounding cat get the other SIMPLE.
