Do you guys know of anyone who has fitted your varex mufflers to a VN-VS commodore?
I havnt really heard of it being done, im willing to attempt but its a bit expensive to trail fit one if it doesnt work.
Also I can't find any height measurements ob the website for the mufflers, looking at the duel 3" in and out oval.
Thanks

Mischa, they do a centre twin in, twin out varex muffler, I'd check that out bud.
P.S- You can be defected for them.
edit:
In my mind, You could run this at the rear & just fit tips to one side...

Well aware there illegal but so is the majority of stuff on the car hence why I would like it quite while going into rbt's and the like and open it up for those weekend drives.

looking about 8" high . and it shouldn't be a problem fitting one onto a VN . Most exhaust shops will be able to help with the install.
Its a very tight fir under the car, I have my doubts on it fitting there.
Another thought is to delete the spare wheel well and fit it there. No idea on the legalities but I'm sure it would atleast require a engineers, bit what on the car doesnt...

You will have issues fitting this to a VN-VS at the rear, I looked into it for my SS but there is no room due to the spare wheel bulge below the floor plus the rear chassis is right there. I didn't look at running one forward of the diff but as "misch" said, floor pan will require modifying or it will hang way to low. If you fitted a drop tank and moved the exhaust more towards centre you could probably fit one. Good luck
I might try deleting the spare wheel well, I'll see how I go. I do need better dimensions of the muffler tho to work it out tho.

Another question directed at anyone with a varex. Is there another muffler upstream from the varex/s? All the videos on youtube seem way to quite to be a stright through exhaust system.
