Default Rocker cover spacers for Ecotec

    Hello all,

As the title states i'm after some rocker cover spacers for my Ecotec V6 because i've fitted the 1.6:1 ratio adjustable rockers. Has anyone found an off the shelf set ? Or perhaps had a set made for a reasonable price ? Want to keep my finned aluminium rocker covers therefore keeping the "wow" factor down and hopefully the plod off my back in the event of an on-the-spot show and tell.

Another question for the yella terra boys, Can i buy a set of spacers that were once sold with the early version 1.8:1 stealth terra rockers ?

    Wink rocker cover spacers

    Hey David,

Unfortunately they are no longer made. We have used the IPR fabricated rocker covers with our adjustable V6 rockers in the past with no issues .

    Cheers

Hey thanks for the reply. Got onto a friend that bought a set of IPR's, cost him $700. Thats too much for me. They only cover the good bits and keep the oil in. I have found a set of spacers, cost me $100 off the shelf so it's all good. Close thread.

Anybody know how much taller these need to be? I'd love to know if they need to be 1/4" or 1/2" taller.

My spacers were/are 7/16" taller. With 570thou lift at the valve I was just getting contact on the rocker cover without anything bolted down, including cork gasket un-crushed.
