very nice, suddenly im having second thoughts about getting a vortech. any idea what the intercooler setup will be worth?
this is probably a stupid question but anyway how loud is it, can u idle around without making too much noise or does it sound like a cat stuck in a blender the whole time regardless of revs? personally i love blower whine its just a pity the coppers dont

The Cooler kit will be under 2k, the whipple's have a "sweet wine" when using mid to heavy throttle , lite throttle you could barely hear it

looks very neat and subtle sitting there.

How much power can be expected bolting on a stock 304, using its standard fuel pump, injectors and ECU?

Your stock internals and ECU will be up to the task but don’t expect the standard fuel pump and injectors to keep up with this kit.
The STD pump want be enough for anything over 200rwkw, this kit with the lowest drive ratio we could give it (7/8psi) and stock everything (engine/exhaust/throttlebody/ECU) will still pump out over 220rwkw.
We have the option of auxiliary injectors to feed in the back of the Whipple but you will still need a pump, we’ve been using the intank Walbro 500.

    Cheers, Matt

so basically you'd just be better off to upgrade the injectors and pump, then you wouldn't need the auxiliary ones? which injectors would you recommend?

The 42lb Bosch green tops will be more than enough even for the intercooled kit I'd say. They are good and easy to get etc

That's correct, the aux. inj. are a great option when running the Std injectors and Std chip with the TerraCharger kit.
I would recommend go larger injectors (green) and pump with the Whipple Kit.

    Cheers, Matt.

    Hi Guys,
The boys at HPF have just finished the first purchased Whipple production kit (YT4082-001)
The customer optioned up to the polished unit and the YT 90mm T/B.
The auto VT SS has completely stock internals and settled with 8/9psi producing 252rwkw.
Here’s some pics on the dyno.
