    Hi MickyD,
A couple of questions if i can.
First is, The original vacuum port on the fuel regulator remains unused or plugged when the vacuum hose is used for the Malpassi? = no vacuum the reg stays open?

Second, ive attached a pic (hope it works) on the bottom of the intake pipe where the bypass valve mounts there is a vac port. The bypass valve connects the the vacuum tree so where does this vac port connect to?

    Thanks, William.

    Hey William,

That is for the bypass actuator to get vac from, its an early design, so the hose goes straight from there to the actuator ;o)

    Cheers

Thanks Micky. If i have the bypass vac to the vac tree in the manifold then i can blank that one off? Sorry if im being annoying but it takes a while to punch the info into me lol.
Is it ok to mount the Microtech under bonnet or should it be mounted near the computer?

Anywhere you like, i drilled a hole next to the factory computer loom ( scary ) and drilled a hole i top of glove box and mounted the microtech in there on velcrow backing so no movement and still removable, looked cool and easy access .

    Cheers

Well Micky shes a goer. Idles and revs sweet as just need to tweak the Microtech a little and check the fuel pressure as it doesnt seem to have the punch i was expecting but saying that it isnt tuned yet plus I never gave it too much and it has the old injectors and memcal back in till after chrissy. I ran the boost hose from the Map sensor on the MF-1 into that port on the manifold that i asked you about so all is good. 1 question though. What grade of oil goes in the charger? I was thinking of changing it since its s/h and dont know its history.
    Thanks, Jim.
