Hey Guys,
What mods do u need to do to an L67 to upgrade to a Whipple?
How much boost does the whipple kit run??
Externally there’s no mods required, our 2.4L Whipple upgrade is the complete package, bolting straight onto your L67 manifold
with the latest V2 single pass intercooler and hi flow billet rails just some of he Std inclusions.
Internally we recommend forged pistons, in our experience over the years with pushing the L67’s limits we’ve found around 220/230rwkw is about the limit of the average L67 piston.![]()
This monster kit at it’s tamest will still produce around 240/250rwkw on the lowest boost.
In saying this there are a few kits out there running on Std set ups making good power and hanging in there.
I suppose they’ll deal with the internals if or when it happens.
The off the self kit sells with a 77mm pulley producing around 15psi on a Std stroked L67.
Cheers, Matt.

Unbeatable power and torque ,with throttle response that only a Whipple supercharger can deliver.
The Whipple features a water to air intercooler to allow extremly high boost with appropriate engine modifications and tuning.
Over 300 rear wheel kilowatts is achievable with this kit. We recommend Forged pistons, “H” beam rods, less than 8.0:1 comp

The kit comes complete with every component to complete the job, including all hoses, brackets, pullies, belts and fasteners.
We have seen power from 250rwkw to 355 rwkw on a 4.2L running 22psi, our WHIPPLE6 UTE made 285RWKW with that sort of combo, running 15psi ,
Cheers
Mike
