bought a HTV2300 mid december. cars in the shop now getting a 383ci stroker and 2300 bolted on.
you guys missed out......
they said it was on the dyno, maybe there is still room for improvment. those that want a whipple blower just have to wait around longer. me on the other hand want my car blown ASAP.
want to see more then a typical commodore fitted with an exhuast, then check my thread out... link broken cuase i dont own a tuff car, i just made it up...

The LS ENFORCER programme has been under development for the past two years, we knew launching the largest, most powerful bolt on twin-screw kit for this competitive market, would have to involve a lot of R&D and be build with he right hard ware to support such a product.
At the Beginning of last year we manufactured a controlled group of (20) R&D pre-production kits which suited the full range of LS models using all of the blower sizes (Whipple 2400/2900/3400)
These were set up on our own in house test vehicles as well as kits sent out “confidentially” to selected YT install/Dealers both nationally and overseas for independent testing and assessment.
This included (3) VE Maloo Utes shipped over to the US fitted with our VE 2900 Enforcer kits to take part in a 'PowerTour' across the states, which proved a perfect testing ground for reliability, durability, temps and power figures at various altitudes and to show off the grunt of our Aussie developed kits.
The kits performed as expected and in some cases surprised us with the amount of power increases some tuners where getting.
The product then was launched at Summernats this year with several kits on static display and our Silver VE 6.0L with the 2900 kit fitted doing the rounds and running up on S/Nats dyno each day.
When we arrived back in Melbourne we where inundated with orders and requests for the kits in January, whilst our manufacturing was on XMAS break. So the small amount of pre-production kits were snapped up. This delay in manufacturing of the key components delayed the supply around the country to our selected dealers like, Maranos Performance, HPF etc. who I now have been pressured for supply, for that I apologise, but we will have this resolved in the coming weeks and we will post up on our YT sponsored site the LS1/2 and L98/LS3/LS7 kit types available.

Just a sneak peak into the R&D department, this was our first production Ls1 kit fitted onto this awesome VY Maloo, she made 300rwkw non intercooled and 335rwkw cooled, running only 9 psi ,
There is more power in her, just kept her as sedate as possible to keep some sort of traction,
even with 20"chromies and new tyres, she lights em up in 3rd![]()

mmm, now for just a price on that pure sex and let the saving begin..
Chev badges are an instant fail
these are big blowers like my 2300. do you guys recomend some internal work before bolting one of these big boys on?
i myself have decided to keep things safe and spend the extra $$$ on a forged 383 stroker kit. im just wondering how your blowers compare with others with stock internals.

kingston, i'm with you, this kit will be for my next car, not the wifes SS, and like you i will be putting alot of money down on engine and gearbox work to accomadate, but i plan on pulling copius amounts of power :P
also still waiting on a price guys, wanna know how much the missus is going to want me shot and quartered when it gets done!!
how much is the 2.4l whipple kit for the ls1intercooled and non intercooled, bn looking at the 2.9 and 3.3 whipple from the states. and with thedollar the way it is the pretty cheep.
PRICING
EARLY STYLE LS1/LS2 MANIFOLDS,
2.4L WHIPPLE INTERCOOLED TUNERS KIT $11,000 inc gst
2.9L WHIPPLE INTERCOLLED TUNERS KIT $12.500 inc gst
I will make a sticky on all info i have collected on the LS series WHIPPLE kits

2.4L WHIPPLE INTERCOOLED TUNERS KIT, REQUIRES CUSTOM TUNING
Correct these Whipple's are the big boys of the LS market in supercharging,
Internal mods depend on how far you push the boost, eg: 10psi intercooled LS1..... = safe,
16psi intercooled on standard internals....... = wont last long at all, with yours being a stroker, the pistons and rods would be quite stronger and i would guess that they would have lowered comp to run boost

The Issue with bringing over a LS kit from the U.S is,
it is not designed to fit under aussie bonnets, some parts may not fit without mods, they look nice and cheap to purchase, untill you still have to pay GST and duties and charges and freight, so not so cheap in the end

how much roughly would you guestimate on fitting charges?
also what would you recomend as far as internal strengthening,,, i really want ne of these but want to make sure my vehicle will handle it (sensible 9-12psi) but my right foot can and does occasionally become the wieght of a besser block :P

what i would like to know is, why is it always twice as much more in australia then it is in america, the ls1 kit from whipple is around 5500 last i looked, ye i dont mind it doesnt fit underneath bonnet, i dont see how it has to be modified since its for the exact same engine, gst is like 10% if im not wrong so its going to cost 5500 to 5900 aussie dollars being higher then american dollars ( according to ebay ) and shipment say worst case scenario costs $500 to get here thats still half the price you guys are offering it at, so that means i still have 5000 to mess around with im pretty sure i could get a nice bonnet done to suit and have more then enough left over after modifying parts of it that doesnt fit.
im just throwing it out here, as i really want to whipple charge my vt clubby, it would be pretty convenient for us to purchase them from a supplier like yourselfs but can you explain to me why it ends up being twice the price ?
going supercharged with comp pacies and 3inch exhuast
im not 100% sure here so don't hammer over this haha, but if you get a Pontiac ls1 whipple kit wouldn't that fit under the bonnet being an Aussie car? And less modification?
that money you save YILDI2 would get you a tough bottom end and cam to suit too
Either way would be awesome having one of these kits.
thats what i was thinking cpbait, if it fits into pontiac gto which is our monaro, then it should fit in ours to, but i havent seen a kit for the gto in the states so i was reffering to the non emissions legal kits that actually wont fit under the bonnet which i dont find a huge issue just means a little cosmetic work with a bulge of your choice i reckon it would look real tuff, especially if there was a cut out revealing the charger
