supercharge a v6 on p's

Wow, just reading this i think my IQ dropped. Im a P plater. I drive a unmodified commodore. However, I have 3 years to build a motor i can drive when im on my opens. Time well spent? I think so. No wonder P platers are a target.

If it wasnt for any innocent deaths, id say bring back natural selection.

i got my licence 6months before the new p plate laws came out hence i was alowed to drive 8's and turbo's! however i knew that with the power that could be made in both and 8 or a turbo i would die or hurt someone else! ill admit i've done some stupid shit but due to the fact they were in a V6 VT tug boat most of the stupid things resulted in nothing but a hurt ego (fishies on dirt road lossed it into a corn paddock ) i waited till i was on my opens to get my s/c 6. there is a reason why the government makes the rules not because they want to cramp your style! its so you dont die! do the smart thing and save your coin and get what ever you want once your on ya opens!

i totaly agree with you i'm 19 1.5 yrs into my p's in WA. I have gone sideways on a gravel farm track and a few other UNintended times ie "taking corners to fast" has been part of my learning process


mum was against me driving dads rusty vl pre L's "as it was to powerful for me" but being 6"10 there is not much that i can fit in to on a tight budget with less power i ended picking up my vy cheap @ perth's march '10 hail storm auctions for its "newer design" and has been worth it

When I was 18 a lot of my mates picking up cheap V8's (VN's, VL's EB's etc) that were 150-170kW and pretty cool cruisers with a bit of grunt. Now since V8's are banned I see young guys are taking out bigger loans and getting 200kW V6 "family cars" which are shitloads faster than the 5L V8's we were driving 8 years ago were. It makes me wonder what the hell the restrictions have achieved.

my monaro is supercharged and i'm on green p's... to be honest the cops are a bunch of muppets they keep thinking mine is v8 when its a v6 supercharged they don't realise it and they let me off so yeah i havnt been done yet but yeah vn's usually get pulled over all the time so i probs woudnt do it, youv'e got ur whole life to enjoy a supercharger just wait it out a bit longer

firstly , my brain hurts from reading so much dribble lol,

secondly,
We dont make a kit for the early V6 ( pre eco )
only make the Whipple kit for the Ecotec V6 now,
and just to scare people who buy V6 commo's thinking of a really quick cheap power, the kit is around $6500
