rockers started ticking after 2yrs

Hi, i put 1.95 rockers in about 2 years ago and theyve always been a little noisy within reason. Over the last 6 months theyve started ticking a lot at highter revs 2500 - 3000, almost sounds like its pinging. Im pretty sure its the rockers or lifters because its very noisy starting up.

Would it be worth unbolting them and re-torquing them. I remember i didnt use any loctite when i put them on...

Take off the rocker covers and check the springs to see if any damage. They use high tensile bolts so no loctite needed. 3000 rpm is not high revs.

Have you checked your engines oil level? Topping up the oil should stop the ticking in the morning.
