and finally, if you could give me some prices on these, that would be great:-

Pulley change tool
revised belt
Thanks guys.
P.S, I was recommended to you guys buy my uncle, who around 20 years ago was using your products, hows that for keeping it in the family!

Shorter belt to suit $41.50.

When using the YT tool, the standard pulley is a sinch to get off!!! It's even easier to get the YT pulley on.

Excellent to hear! Decided to wait on getting the pulley till I can afford the rockers at the same time, but shouldnt be more than a year all up. On the note of the rockers, will I need a differant gasket for the rocker cover, or will a new GM one be fine?

Standard GM "O"ring gasket is fine if you even need that, they are often OK to re-use.

Have you with either the Whipple's or M90/112's tried HPC coating them at all?
I'm slowly piecing all this together looking at the Whipple on a low comp 355.

Here you go Dave (and anyone else who is interested), here is a couple of pics of my M90 back from being HPC coated and assembled back up.

Hey
Im currently running a standard VP 5ltr and am looking at one of these kits. I have fitted a set of Gilmer pulleys to the engine, with a P/S pulley that bolts to the front of the Gilmer Crank pulley. Is this compatible with the belt drive on the S/Charger, or would I need to revert back to the standard pulley system? The car is also running Pacemakers with a 2.5 inch straight through system, is this adequate, or is 3 inch recommended?
Can you also recommend a Camshaft that would compliment the addition of the S/Charger? I have access to camshafts at good prices through work contacts, or can get one custom made quite cheap.
Thanks

The blower drive belt runs in front of the standard belts so if your gilmer system is no further out than standard it should work OK.
A rough rule of thumb is the less restriction the better with superchargers exhausts so 3" would be better than 2 1/2".
We have a custom cam grind we have been getting Crow to do for the blown V8's. If you contact our sales office the guys can give you the specs.
Cheers.
Mark.

Thanks for the reply.
The Gilmer itself is fine, its just the fact that I have a P/S pulley bolted to the front of it, and have had to bring the P/S Pump forward about an inch to get the pulleys to run inline. Thats where I am wondering if I may have trouble?
Also, how loud are the Superchargers? If I had to get rid of the Gilmers for it to work, would I still get a Gilmer-style whine, or are they quiet when running?
One last thing, if you were fitting this kit to your car, what else would you do? You have already mentioned 3 inch exhaust, bigger throttle body and Cam swap, anything else besides all that and most likely a Dyno Tune?
Thanks
