No. We've been waiting till our website was up before doing anything more in the forums than just chat.
Don't know if JC's have limited space for sponsors but we got straight in. Aren't FIT still there anyway? (he says looking up)

just a quick question if i may... if i run split ratio's (eg:1.9:1 and 1.95:1) and extractors / exhaust this will mean less "Shown" boost so will i be able to run the 82mm pulley or should i stick to the 87mm (without a tune) as alot of people are running the 87mm without a tune but using 98 octane fuel...thanks in advance

Yes, with your mods you will see less boost on the gauge. Not sure if you would be able (or would be wise to) run the 82mm pulley safely without a tune. Mabye this is a question for Mark or Scotty!

I have question about the press on pulleys....Do they need a hub like the FIT pulley kits or does it press straight on to where the factory one is removed from? Is the removal and application of the new pully really complicated? These may seem dumb ?'s but ya get that...

Not dumb, I asked similar questions in a similar post. The answers are:-

The press on pulley kit slips straight onto the standard hub, no mess, no fuss!

I have been told that the removal tool is easy-peesy to use, and even easier to press on the new pulley!

a few noob questions here:

what is the difference between the 1.6,1.7,1.8,1.9,1.95 ratio rockers? what would be best power gain wise for my vx s n/a

noticed you guys are in moorabbin via, do you offer an installation service for the completely non-mechnically minded like myself?

am i better taking off the std intake on the vx s, and replacing with the yt cai?

cheers

Basically the difference is how mach valve lift you will get or how far the valves will open.
The V6 engine will make more power if you open the valves further, but there are limits and you can cause problems if you go too far, so if you have or plan to have an aftermarket camshaft you would use one of the lower ratios. If you have standard cam then you would go for a higher ratio.
We don't have a fitting service ourselves but there are a couple of workshops in our area that could help. Give Mick a call 9555 5522.
The Cai is designed to work in conjuction with the standard one and doesn't actually replace it.
Cheers.
Mark.
