OK The story goes:
Back when Perfectune were just doing tune ups and hand porting heads one at a time, they decided to do a batch of Holden "I think" grey motor heads all at the same time to improve eficiency.
The heads had to be painted and the only colour paint they had enough of in the workshop was Yellow, left over from the boss's race car.
So they all got painted and put on a bench ready to sell. The guy who normally worked at that bench cracked the sads and said "get those f***ing Yella Terra's out of my way" and so everyone started calling them the Yella Terra's. The name stuck and all the new products got the name as well.
After a few years the products and engineering service took over from the tuning business and here we are.
Cheers.
Mark.
