Every time I see one I wish it would fit in a VS engine bay, maybe when I get around to modifying a Gen3 airbox (has to shorter in height) I'll be able to fit one.

The Yella Terra CAI pipe is 100mm in Dia, there's a piece that fits from the inside of the box then the pipe clamps onto it.

You could try fitting the Holden OTR CAI with the VN-VR inlet pipe fitted like the YT pipe next to where the snorkel attaches.
This is what myself and a few others have done and it looks almost factory fitted.

I really like your set up Col, but you can't beat the look of that big mofo YT CAI!

I got my custom lower airbox fitted with the VT LS1 lid all fitted now with the YT 100mm CAI! I'll get some pics when its all cleaned up & finished.

Not wrong Col, they look really big & smooth

It efectivley gives the VT airbox double the intake by the looks of it. The original hole looks smaller actually

The YT CAI is just a 100mm open pipe at the bottom.
the pipe is very similar to the 100mm inlet pipe used by the ls1 boys between the TB and airbox.
The attachment of the Rubber tube to the airbox is about as neat as your going to get this side of factory fit, have a look at the second pic in post#3.
On the subject of this being costly there is another popular brand CAI called the Type S which has part of a piece of large diameter radiator hose pushed into the hole cut into the side of the airbox and cost way more than this YT CAI tube kit.

    Hi BennyVTcalais,

    The YT 3800CAI is $172.30
You cant really see a power increase on a dyno.
But it is noticable on the road, Supercharged engines normally see a 1.5psi boost increase.

Here is one from underneath, it's an early version, later production ones come down a little more.
