Have seen your 1.9(YT6651) rockers but can't find your 1.95's anywhere??
do you have a part number/price for them to suit 1998 vt v6
cheers
Hey Dagsy.
Part number is YT6662, price is the same as other ratios $697
is there much difference between 1.9 to 1.95 as far as better performance?
*BUMP*
I'm also wanting to know, even improvements over stock would be good. Do you have any dyno sheets from a VS before and after?
Thanks
Power gains from increasing the rocker ratio varies a lot, usually between 10 and 25kw. NA engines tend to see less gains than SC and modified engines, particularly with exhaust, t/body CAI mods. The latest test was done at Chipcontrol the other day so I will post up figures when they come through.
Cheers.

what "Mixed ratio" would you recommend for a L67 running 10psi ?? just thought i asked before ordering![]()
SUPERCHARGED V6 VS CALAIS
R.I.P Peter Brock 05 The Man The Legend
Will i have any problems fitting these to my VXII V6?

I got a VY series II i was just wondering would it make ticking noise in the engine bay if i put the 1:95rockers and pushrods??
No.
That problem seems to be limited to modified factory arms.
We have plenty of VY II's running the full rollers with no noise.
Might sound stupid ,Factory arms as in ??
Standard factory rockers that have been welded up and re-machined to change the ratio.
Hi, I'm interested in the 95 rockers and am curious on what I could expect at the rear wheels power and torque wise - best and worst case. I have the usual mods - CAI = K&N filter - headers and 2.5inch exhaust with tune - made 170rwhp on a hot day. What could I expect from the rockes? Appreciate feedback = cheers
HOw do the split ratio rockers affect valve and guide wear?

All roller tipped rockers reduce the valve guide wear provided they are set up properly (correct geometry). Higher ratio rockers mean the valve is opening further and faster but the advantages of the roller tip far outweigh the dissadvantages of the extra movement.

My last upgrade was from YT 1.8stealth rockers to 1.9in/1.95exh Split ratio (works better with the supercharged engine) and you could notice the difference straight away and I already had 185+rwkw combo.
Haven't had it dynoed yet since the upgrade but seat of the pants feel was noticable.
Cheers col.

whats involved in installing these, pull off old head put on new. do they come pre assembled. no major adjustments. no new tappet covers or anything in that nature.
these seem like a great little addition to modifying the v6's, but what about camshafts as these different ratio rockers are only going to be extending valve lift and speed correct?
do you guys do any cam packages as well to get a bit more duration to help build up intake velocity?
Yep.
We have one camshaft available that is specifically designed for high boost supercharged applications but you can only use 1.6 or 1.7 rockers with it.
