Not really, but you never know.
We need people who understand engines though. You can't improve something if you don't know how it works in the first place.
Theres another spot coming up soon that doesn't require as much engine knowledge. It's more a purchasing/stock controll/production scheduling type role. But I will post up the details later.
Response has been very good so far so we are looking forward to adding another "rev-head" to the team soon.
Cheers.
Mark.

Never stop dreaming xcop.
And if the position advertised is what you would like to do, then go for it.
We don't expect to get people who can just walk in and do everything we want without training. but we do need people with the basic knowledge and skills learned as apprentices or from a few years in the field. We are constantly expanding and new jobs come up regularly.
This particular position would best suit an engine reconditioner, but the next may best suit a mechanic or even a tuning specialist.
All the current YT sales team are ex-machanics, engine reconditioners, or fitter and turners.
Cheers.
Mark.
