Just after some expert advice on what to order regarding YT rockers for my VT5.0. It is stock apart from Pacemakers with twin redback system and SS Inductions CAI.
Basically i want the best bang for my buck, not concerned if there is idle differences or anything as such. Ummm, i guess what i really need is part#, approx $$$ and approx gains. (210 kw at the flywheel at the moment)
Thankyou in advance for your time and knowledge,
Adam..

Hey Adam.
We have found the Holden V8 to be "not as responsive" to high ratio rockers as other engines like the V6 and LS1.
All the rockers we keep on the shelf are 1.65 ratio which is only a tad more than standard and we don't claim any significant power gains. they are much stronger than standard and reduce the valve guide wear, that I will promise you. but I can't say "yeah they will make x more power". A lot of people come back to us and say they feel a power gain, or bring in dyno sheets that show a smoother power curve, but it's not consistant enough to spruke about.
I would suggest YT 6309, same as Dave put on his car and did a write up. They are billet material, adjustable and fit under standard covers, i think the average price is about $890 but feel free to shop around or call the sales office during the day 039 555 5522 ask for Mick.
Cheers.

Hey thanks for your honest opinion,, thats what counts. Strength is still a plus side for me, compared to stock rockers.
cheers.
