Default Throttle Body + Roller Rockers

Hi,

I drive a VS V6 Execand am thinking of getting a throttle body and some Higher ratio roller rockers and have a few questions.

1) Why should I buy a Yella Terra throttle body for over $300 when others are avalible on ebay for about $180.

2) What ratio of roller rocker should I get, I don't have huge planes for the engine? Is there a price difference between the ratios? What do rockers cost?

3) Where is the best place to buy Yella Terra Parts in the Newcastle area?
Or where on the Internet is the best place to get them?

Cheers

Hi MCVK
We don't have a throttle body for the Ecotec engine and I suggest you be carefull about fitting one if you are not getting a tune because a straight bore TB will affect the trans shift points.
All the Ultra light rockers are priced the same regardless of ratio, and should be available from any speed shop. repco etc. I think Chipcontrol sells them online. 1.9 or 1.95 are the most popular with standard cam.
Cheers.
Mark.

As per Tappetheads advice plus save your money and don't bother with a bigger TB unless you plan plenty of big power mods.
Spend the TB cash on your exhaust.
The Ultralite RR's are a great bang for your buck unlike bigger TB's.
