Default What ratio?

Hi in the future i plan to fit YT Rockers to my VX v6 (Non Supercharged) engine.

Now im new to the mod scene and have noticed all this took of ratios eg 1.9:1 or something like that. Now i wonder what this means and what ratio is best for what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

No worries. I read a lil on the YT site and it seems the higher the ratio the better the power gain so maybe the 1.95s are the way to go. Or the 1.9s.

Anyway anyone with knowledge i'd like some input, thanks.

1.9 is good for sure and 1.95 even more so, the YT people can advise on what if anything is needed to go with either

1.9:! is good but for VY or VZ, can't remember which?....there was some excess casting flash in the heads which can interfere with he higher ratios. Call YT for advice regarding ur model.

1.9 is by far most popular (provided it's standard camshaft).
1.95 / 1.9 mixed sales are on the up though.
The casting flash problem has never been an issue with our rockers or any alloy aftermarket rockers that I have heard about. Only with re-worked factory rockers.

Cheers.
Mark.
