So is the guy from repco full of it?
Okay I went down to my local Repco on the weekend to get a price on some roller rockers for they VU. The guy down there told me that they only sell the 1.8 and wont sell anything higher because it's too dangerous. Is this the way with all repcos or was this guy just a nard? Also would I be better off buying directly from YT?

im pretty sure you can get 1:9 ratio! and depending on price its up to you where you want to buy them from! just make sure you get your push rods with your rockers!

He's prob full of crap, i work at repco, and if YT sells something... we can get it in.
I just got my mate a smaller pulley for his blower from YT.
Get a part number from YT, and give it to the dude at repco and say order this **** bag.
May be cheaper going through YT themselves i couldnt tell you

1.95's
I went Direct and picked mine up for $600 over the counter.....
$600 = 1.95:1 ROLLER ROCKERS, plus saddles, Unbrako Bolts amd Pushrods...
They come in a nice box and include detailed instructions and a couple of stickers if that's your thing........

Use 1.9 or 1.95 for standard camshaft, valve springs and standard tune (Max RPM 5600)
Use 1.9 for standard camshaft, aftermarket valve springs if tuned (higher RPM)
Use 1.8 for standard camshaft and standard valve springs if tuned (higher RPM)
Use 1.7 or 1.6 for aftermarket camshaft, valve springs, and tuned.
FYI.
The standard rev limit is 5600 RPM. This can be increased with Kalmaker tune up to 6400.
Ratios higher than 1.84 will valve bounce at 5900 on standard springs.
The retainers will hit the valve stem seal at .520" lift. Aftermarket cams combined with high ratio rockers often exceed that.
Cheers.
Mark.

thats a FIT problem becasue they use remanufactured rockers (welded), and FIT is a dirty word on this forum

We looked at doing our own leads and had a number of samples made but never went ahead with the project.
The only cam we keep in stock is to siut the supercharged engine, not N/A.
No heads available as yet.
That's 3 strikes....... I'm out.
Cheers
