Default chiptourque memcal

Hello i bought a second hand terra charger snout and memcal. I see on your web site there are different memcals for each ECU and am wondering if you can help match this one up. The memcal has a sticker with VX V6 DDRH A.SC2 8171H402 on it and a four digit code 3171 scratched in under neath. Also what is the correct amount of oil to have in your snout. I put a bottle and a half in and there is a very loud noise coming from the gears in the front is it possible its over full and putting extra pressure the gears??
Thanks for any help Roger

The broadcast code on that memcal is DDRH and that should be matched up to the computer in the car. Look for the same broadcast code on the ECU.
You would have to talk to Chiptorque to check compatibility if your ECU is different.
Gearcase capacity is 140ml which is about 1 1/2 bottles of GM oil (I think).
I don't believe overfilling will cause gear noise, more likely front seal leakage.
Try a new coupler, that's the most common cause of gear noise.

Cheers.
Mark.

VS VT yes constantly, VX yes but they have a flash programmed PCM not a memcal setup.
