    Question Yella Terra 1.8's with bigger cam - pre ecotec

    hi guys;

    im looking at the yella terra 1.8 ratio rockers for a VR V6, i just want to make sure that they wont force the valve to collide with the piston or anything.
    the heads are shaved 40 thou and the lift of the cam is .295. will i have any problems with this setup?
    also, what parts numbers should i be looking at, theres a couple on the site.

    cheers.

    At .295" cam lift 1.8 rockers will give you .535" valve lift and thats too much for standard retainers & guides. Unless they have been machined to suit.
    You would need to run 1.7 ratio which will give you .503" valve lift.
    Part number is YT6658 = 1.7 5/16" mounting bolts.

    Cheers.
