The company has been designing and manufacturing hi-performance engine parts for car enthusiasts and motor racing professionals to suit Holden, Ford, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and other hi-performance engines for more than 45 years for both here in Australia and the USA . ABOUT THE JOB

Servicing external customers, you will be an important member of our team. This is a varied role involving interpreting and selling performance parts, plus attending to our warehouse, retail counter and wholesale customer base - including telephone enquiries. Whether you have experience or are looking for a new opportunity the necessary training will be provided. This position is a step into a long term career path and growth opportunity within the aftermarket Hi performance engine sales environment. Yella Terra has an extensive product range which includes; Engine Heads, Valve train products, Camshafts, Harmonic Balancer, Clutches, Flywheels, Superchargers and Intercoolers.

As an integral member of the team you will be required to:
Correctly identify and interpret parts and parts numbers
Receive, unload and store inbound parts
Assist with parts inquiries from both external customers and Distributors
Picking and Packing of customer Orders
Perform stock takes and cycle counts
Customer Service

Requirements:
To be successful you will need:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Computer literate
Confident talking to and assisting automotive customers
Demonstrate a genuine interest and knowledge in the automotive industry
Current Victorian drivers licence
Dynamic, Energetic and passionate about hi performance engine parts

if i was livin in melb i would be def interested. too bad im in SA and about 6 months away from finishing my parts interpreting apprenticeship.

IS this at Moorabbin Office ? Or are you opening a new store ! Hmm imagine the discounts, and also i would just love staring and looking over the parts all day. Especially YT's products. Do you have an initial Pay band ? And dont say its higher that the U.S minimum wage hehe.

It's at the Moorabbin warehouse, 5 day week, 3 months trial on casual I believe the award is somewhere around $18ph but there's no set amount, depends on experience etc.
