    Default Yella Terra Terra Charger

Hi guys, can someone tell me if there is a difference between a VT 5lt and a VS 5lt yella terra supercharger. On the website it says there is a special kit to suit a VT Hydraullic Roller Cam. I have rang a few performance shops and they have all said there is no difference. Also what do you have to do to run more than the 8psi the kit comes with.

    Thank
    You.

It was my impression the small m90 is already running flat out when bolted on a 5L.

    INDACLUB,

    yella terra supercharger

There are only a few minor difference between the VT 5lt sedan only (YT 4081VT) and a VS 5lt S/c kit (Yt 4081).

    1. The VT sedan (only) runs a 4 rib serpentine balancer pulley which offsets the blower pulley out 6mm. This means the balancer pulley and the blower pulley are different. (so the pulleys in the kits are different)

    2. Due to the VT being a roller cam engine, it runs a roller lifter tie down bracket in the valley which has to be slightly modified to miss the built in bypass channel under the S/c manifold.

    3. The airbox is also different in the VT, so we supply a VT-V6 top half AB to marry up to the new TB position.

Both kits are good for over 60% gain and come complete.

Both Kits intercooled options and pulleys to raise the boost over 10 psi

    Hope this helps

Ring Mark, Matt or Mike at YT is probs

Default YT 4081 for VS with roller cam block

The correct kit to suit the VS is the YT 4081.

The mod's required to fit the kit are to trim the roller lifter retaining plate that sits in the valley and fitment of a electric thermo fan, like a single 16" davis craig or twin thermo's from a VT / AU. As the standard belt driven fan blades will hit the s/c snout.

You would also need the inline temp controller , also available from davis craig. once done the kit will fit with no issues.

    Cheers
