Hi.

Looking at getting a set of these non adjustables, on the YT site it says:

"Ultralite bolt on shaft type non adjustable 1.8:1. clears standard valve covers."

Does this apply to VY2 (I know some of the later ls1s have different covers?)

Also, I am assuming that on a car thats only done 82k odd km, that I wont need to replace the valve springs?

Hey Uber_Matt,

The YT 6646 will fit on most models with out any clearance issues.
I have come across a few here and there that did touch the rocker covers,
( a batch from GM machined lower than normal i take it )

As a precaution we can supply our new thicker rocker cover seals.
they fit as standard but give you more clearance from the rocker assembley.
they retail for about $18 for the pair. id try and mount the rockers first then fit a cover back on one side then turn the engine over by hand to see if you have clearance on not, worst case is the extra $18.00 for the thicker spacers if required.
