Can someone give me the low down of what difference yella Terra rockers do?
1.8 Ratio are is what i believe are commonly used on the Buick 3800. Mine is a 1989 S2 V6.
This is a relatively cheap thing to do.
Also are they hard to install?
any info is great thanks guys.
i was just about to ask the samething
cake as to install lierally its just unbolting swapping then re-bolting.

Yeah i have herd this will reduce engine noise and become more smooth is this correct?
I know there is a lot of info in this yella terra pages but was just wondering why do you replace rockers for if you know what i mean, Performance etc.?
these rockers are a different dimension than standard and the ratio from back to front on the pivot point is altered which increases the travel of the valve.
this will in theory increase valve lift to increase power just like an aftermarket camshaft.
but the duration is not changed and the valve speeds is increased.
as in the valve still has the same amount of time to open and close as before but now it has to open further so of corse it has to do it much quicker.
i guess some long term effects could be some wear on valve seats or the valves them selves?
quite a handy little mod really and a lot easier than changing a camshaft.
but driving along would u notice em just after installation if u cant be bothered with cams
cool thanks man
no worries at all Leebo
