Stage 2 Holden v8 Whipple

Hello,

I have been some old threads here regarding a stage two whipple supercharger kit for the holden 5.0/7 gen2.

Any news on this kit?

Just after some info on the kit/price/power expectation.

The 2.4L Whipple supercharger kit to suit the Holden 5.0/5.7L engine is just about to be released. we are making the finishing touches now.

This kit offers very high boost potential on modified engines with a strong bottom end and custom tuning. the results are 250kw +, at the rear wheels.


The kit has been designed to fit a non standard engine.

The kit will be a tuners kit meaning we supply hardware only,
Eg:
. 2.4L Whipple Supercharger assembly
. Alloy S/c Inlet Manifold
. Intake Tube
. Bi Pass Valve
. Drive Belt
. All hoses, brackets, pulleys, belts and fasteners
. All Necessary Mounting Brackets & Hoses
No tuning or fuel components are included

Recommendations for upgrades are a thermo fan as standard will not clear the snout, a free flowing exhaust system eg: Headers, hi-flow cats and a good twin system 2 ½" or 3" is good to get the best power.

Engine management and dyno tuning is required after fitment. Injectors and fuel pump will need to be changed to suit the tuners recommendation.
Engine internals will require upgrading,


price is to be set under $10,500. inc gst

Im interested in the whipple kit as im chasing more power, im currently running a eaton 112 supercharger , making over 400rwhp.
What pulleys can you get with the kit to run high psi?
Do you have pictures of the manifold and a complete set up? And can a water intercooler be fitted?

Hey 5.7senator,

The 2.4L Whipple unit can make upto 25psi and can make upto 750hp.
We have not intercooled these as yet but may later down the track.
We have also done a 3.4L kit that can make 650 engine hp on 13psi.
could have been 700hp but valve springs could not handle it.so its safe at 650

if interested in the 2.4L kit give me a call or a pm, i could do this for under 10k
