    hey guys i know that hi ratio rockers will increase power but am not 100% sure why?? can someone explain it to me??

    and can someone pm with some prices i have been told 1:9:1 r good????

    they increase how far the valve opens, which means you can get more air into the cylinder (put simply).

    1.9RR are $895 from YT direct.

    1.95:1 are good too...

    As said, they just increase the amount of air that gets into the cylinder buy opening the valves wider...

    Same applies to the exhaust... alows more exhaust gases to escape quicker.

    Have a chat with the guys at YT... if are around melb I would pay their factory a visit.

    I don't know about their prices now... but when I got mine... which was about a year and a halp ago now i think they did me a nice deal that was a fair amount south of 895.

    And yeah... just an FYI... other brands like FIT or MACE charge you basically the same money for Rockers that don't have a roller tip like the YT ones, that are re manufactured from old standard rocker AND in most cases I've heard the pushrods are extra...

    While the YT product is manufactured new, with the tips and sold with the pushrods... win win win for YT!
